The Nag-O-Meter Nag-Tone feature will email a special file with the extension M4R. This is a rintone file and is recognized by iTunes. It cannot be opened directly on your iPhone (if you want to simply play the Nag on your iPhone use the Nag-Mail option to send yourself an MP3 version of the Nag).

To transfer the M4R file to iTunes simply double-click on the attached file on your Mac or PC. It will be automatically transfered to iTunes. This works on both the Mac and PC.

To see the Nag-Tone click on the Ringtones link in the left column of iTunes under LIBRARY.

When your iPhone or iPod Touch is connected to your computer, click on the device name in the left column of iTunes and go to the ringtone section. You should now see your new rington Nag. If you want to be sure about the sync, feel free to click “selected ringtones” and check off the file explicitly, though this shouldn’t be required.

Now SYNC your phone. You’re Done!

Once the custom ringtone Nag is on your iPhone you can use it for alarms and assign the ringtone as your default tone or set custom tones for individual contacts.
